World Masters’ Games 2009: Canoe Slalom

I had the great good fortune to be involved in the World Masters’ Games canoe slalom event at the Penrith Whitewater Stadium on 15 October.

This was a trailer for the event produced on 30 September:

This was a news wrap of the event:

I was a judge at the event. Richard Alder has some great pictures of the event on his Facebook account. We judged together on the top section of the course (Gates 1-5).

I found the day to be a wonderful canoe slalom version of Field of Dreams.
